TANKAR Gardencoffee: Organically grown at the source of the Nile

Retirement Program

There is no pension system in Tanzania, but there are communities that care for the elderly.

Typically, older family members are relying on their children to care and provide for them.

We support our farmers to plan with their retirement and offer tree programs that allows them be more self-sufficient.

The trees that we promote grow slowly and provide a sustainable secondary income after ten years of growth.

This not only supports the financial situation of the farmers and fixes carbon oxides; it also is part of our organic TANKAR-Coffee quality because shade-grown coffee grows slower and develops more taste.

The variety of 30 different deciduous trees provide shade, protect wildlife like birds and increases the biodiversity of our gardens to keep our high TANKAR-Quality in the future.
