African Coffee is normally grown by Africans, shipped by Arabian people, roasted by Belgians and sold by Germans.

Most cost raise at the end of the value chain for high European taxes, expensive roasters & transport, intensive marketing and other non-value adding steps.

Two years ago we received the permission to label our coffee as FAIRTRADE. With fair traded coffee the European trader promises to pay a fair share of the revenue to the growers. Because traders are profit oriented this translates into a comparably high price to be paid by customers in the end of the commodity chain.

TANKAR-Coffee is going one step further toward fair prices: We reduce our cost and exclude expensive European traders completely out of TANKAR-Coffee out of the commodity chain and therefore customers get the best value for the money.

Therefore we even roast our own coffee. TANKAR-Coffee is harvested, roasted and packed by our African garden farming families and is shipped it directly to the customer.

WWe do not burden our customers with the costs of expensive trade chains – TANKAR-Coffee is traded exclusively by the African farmers.

By buying TANKAR-COFFEE you only pay for the Coffee - even expensive marketing and accounting is not charged for because it is accomplished by our international volunteers that support our idea of organic and sustainable coffee free of cost for a limited of time. Volunteers come from Europe, America, Asia, Uganda and Kenia to support the organic and sustainable idea of TANKAR-Coffee.

We want to offer everything out of one hand. TANKAR-Coffee is not sold by a trader; TANKAR-Coffee is directly and only sold by the TANKAR farmers.

We grow, harvest, roast and grind our coffee in Africa to ensure the best value for money.

We will begin roasting in June and shortly after the produce will be available in our in online shop. This is how we ensure a high standard quality control and you are able to buy your coffee directly from the farmer.
